In death by boiling, the prisoner is stripped naked and either placed in a cauldron of boiling liquid, or in a cauldron of cold liquid which was then heated to boiling. The liquid could be oil, acid, tar, water, or molten lead. They would usually do public boilings to scare the villagers to not do any crime. They used this punishment for prisoners and witches.
